Removing accounts from your Quest device
In order for the ILP Standalone Provisioner to give the correct permissions to the ILP Standalone Launcher, you must remove some system accounts from your Quest device.
Attention
This guide assumes you are using the ILP Standalone Provisioner to setup a Quest device. To download the ILP Standalone Provisioner, you must:
- Go to the devices page in the ILP
- Select "Add device"
- Select "Standalone"
- Click the "Download the ILP for Windows" button

1) Follow the steps in the provisioner until asked to remove accounts
You can launch the ILP Standalone provisioner by right-clicking the ILP icon in the Windows Tray in the bottom right corner of your screen, and choose "Standalone Provisioner".
The ILP Standalone Provisioner will ask you to login when launched, and then prompt you to select the device type. Select "Meta Quest".
Then follow the on-screen prompts until you're asked to remove accounts.
2) Navigate to "Passwords and Accounts"
Once prompted to "Remove accounts", a settings screen should appear in the headset.
In this settings screen, navigate to the "Passwords and Accounts" screen.

If the settings screen does not open, click "Re-open settings" in the ILP Standalone Provisioner
3) Remove each account
In the "Passwords and Accounts" screen, select each account one by one and choose "Remove".
Once all accounts are removed, return to the ILP Standalone Provisioner and wait for it to confirm the accounts have been removed.
Account removal not being confirmed?
If account removal is not being confirmed, put the headset back on and remove the accounts again.
You're all done. The ILP Standalone Provisioner will give you more instructions to finish configuring your headset.
